Umomy is a mother and child product brand. They needed a website to introduce their products and sell them directly, bypassing retailers. In this project, I worked as a UX designer, responsible for gathering and delivering UX documentation to help the UI designer gain a clear understanding of the project requirements and to communicate industry trends to stakeholders.
The Umomy project was an extensive journey focused on enhancing the user experience and optimizing the brand’s digital presence. Throughout the project, we conducted a thorough analysis of both domestic and international competitors, deeply explored the needs and behaviors of our target audience, and created user personas that accurately represented our potential customers. This research allowed us to identify key areas for improvement and set a clear direction for the design and development of the Umomy website.
During this project, we designed detailed user journeys and flows, tailored specifically to our three main personas. Each persona represented a unique segment of our audience, with distinct motivations and needs. By understanding their behaviors, we were able to create personalized paths within the website, ensuring that each user’s experience was intuitive, engaging, and efficient.
Our achievements included a clear, data-driven approach to website architecture that not only enhanced SEO performance but also improved user navigation and content discovery. We developed a user-centered design strategy that emphasized ease of use, aesthetic appeal, and trust-building—crucial elements for converting visitors into loyal customers.
In the end, this project provided Umomy with a strong foundation for a compelling online presence. The insights gathered and the strategies implemented have positioned Umomy to better serve its audience, increase customer satisfaction, and ultimately grow its brand in a competitive market. The new Umomy website is set to launch, equipped with the tools and design elements needed to deliver an exceptional user experience, reflecting the quality and reliability that the brand stands for.
