When I left Dadsun in March 2021, I was excited to start my journey as a freelance UI/UX designer. My previous co-worker at Dadsun, [Hossein], offered me the opportunity to join him on the Arman-broker project. Arman is a stock market company that awards users points for their transactions. With these points, users can claim prizes.

They had 28 branches in various cities across Iran with 100,000 customers.
Market Norms
The Iranian stock market is under strict supervision by the Stock Exchange and Securities Organization. The only way to trade is through brokerages; individual trading is not allowed. Registering with any brokerage requires two steps:
- First, you must register in the Comprehensive Customer Information System, commonly known as Sajam. This process can be completed by visiting citizen offices in person or using the outdated and glitchy official Sajam website. At the end of this step, you will receive a unique trading code.
- Next, you must register with a brokerage using your unique trading code. This can be done either in person at brokerage branches or online. Most brokerages do not offer online registration.
Trading in the Iranian stock market is as difficult as registering. There are two ways to trade:
- In person at your brokerage branch
- Through the only authorized website by the Stock Exchange and Securities Organization, commonly known as TSETMC.com. This website provided an API to personalize login pages for each brokerage, but the core features after login were the same for all users. The website is outdated and lacks useful features to help users manage their portfolios or track transaction histories.
As a result, users typically have access to two different dashboards:
- The brokerage dashboard (if available) for personal information
- The TSETMC dashboard for trading only
Website Features
They had an outdated MVP-style website that included three different sections:
- Landing pages
- Customer panel
- Admin panel for employees
